November 29th – 30th, 2024

Join us in 2024 for a Christmas adventure that, in a few hours, brings you back 700 years
into an honored medieval tradition. Our Christkindlmarkt showcases handmade crafts and works of art by the finest artisans, the heart-warming
sounds and sights of live Christmas music, pageantry, and delicious German food specialties.

It’s a delightful way to experience & begin the holiday season in Connecticut. The air fills with the fragrance of sizzling bratwursts, schnitzel,
sweetbreads & pastries, roasted/candied nuts, and hot spiced Glühwein.

Decorated booths sell lovely Christmas decorations, handicrafts, and a variety of sweet treats, i.e., German cakes,
cookies, chocolates, pastries, and sweet dough bread called Stollen.

There will be live music and six live performances of Medieval Christmas customs.
All the performers are HSB members.

All are welcome – bring a friend or two!    We ask for a donation from adults
with a portion donated to Newington for those in need this holiday season.
